Icono completed the redevelopment of a 1950s bungalow, transforming it into two modern city homes designed to maximise space, light, and the property’s exceptional views.
The new residences enjoy sweeping vistas of Cape Town’s Atlantic Seaboard and harbour. While the design is distinctly contemporary, original features such as exposed brickwork and Oregon pine flooring have been carefully retained to preserve the building’s character. Timber from the original roof was reclaimed and re-imagined as custom bathroom joinery and flooring, expertly machined and finished on site by Icono’s team.
Additional parking was added to support effortless townhouse living—just minutes from the heart of Cape Town’s CBD.
