Established in 2014, Icono brings Cape Town property to life through development, investment and management. With beginnings as a development company, Icono expanded to included a projects division which manages and delivers a range of high-end turn key projects.
Delivering projects ranging from 100 sim apartments in Central London to 3500sqm Villa’s in the UAE, as well as the management of both commercial and multi-unit residential schemes, our experience spans residential, commercial and the hospitality sectors.
The Icono Property team work closely with a highly-skilled team of consultants and specialists to transform unappreciated property i into highly-attractive assets.
From a construction management perspective, the Icono Projects team undertake and oversee the construction of developments, as well as offering a Project Management service on behalf of clients.

Our People
J-D Rowe , Founder
With years of experience both locally and internatuionally, J-D has a hands-on role within all sectors of the company.
Under Icono Property, he is responsible for the sourcing and evaluation of new development sites, as well as the design, planning and subsequent development thereof.
Under Icono Projects, J-D oversees the construction management of developments and has extensive engagement throughout all stages of the construction process. He is also the principal project manager and enjoys a close relationship with clients, a number of whom have entrusted him with significant investments on various projects.
Prior to founding Icono Property and Icono Projects, J-D set up and ran a property maintenance company in central London, which at as its peak had over 45 high-end homes under management across Belgravia, Mayfair, Knightsbridge and Chelsea.
